Karen Krape & Margo Wakefield, co-owners of Northwest Shows, Inc. (and ex-sister-in-laws) have been producing consumer events for over 28 years. Our largest event, The Northwest Women's Show, has been held in Seattle for the past twenty four years and draws up to 25,000 attendees. With over 400 exhibits, up to five stages, local and national celebrities, strong local and national support, The Northwest Women's Show has become a successful regional tradition. Our past events include:
Wholesale Heaven, an event that started in 1983 which included sales reps, importers and manufacturers in the clothing and gift industries. It was hugely popular for many years. Open to the public. We REALLY miss this show!
Other events include 'Good Vibrations' - one time jazz festival held on the BCC campus, ‘Night of Beauty’ - an evening conference that featured the latest technology in the aesthetic industry, 'Holiday Magic' was a holiday gift and art event that was held for 2 consecutive years at Meydenbauer Center.
The Northwest Women’s Show is currently in its 24th year at CenturyLink Event Center. Northwest Shows has worked with major sponsors like BECU, Assurant Health, McDonalds, Bartell Drug Stores, QFC, Nordstrom, Alaska Airlines and many more. We produce all of our own advertising, PR bulletins, showguides as well as organizing the hundreds of exhibitors and booking in all of the entertainment on the numerous stages.
We have many help us throughout the years but TeraTrim is one of the very best. She keeps us organized with the thousands of details that arise with exhibitors, entertainment and forms that must be completed.
This year, we have brought on board Deana Palmer and her group from GTX Marketing to help with sales, strategizing and social media.
